Decade of Precision: Specim’s Cleanroom Celebrates 10 Years of Excellence in Hyperspectral Camera Manufacturing

We are excited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Specim’s Cleanroom facilities. This milestone marks a decade of providing a controlled environment that upholds the highest standards for manufacturing our cutting-edge hyperspectral cameras.

As one of the first pioneers in hyperspectral imaging technology, we know how vital clean environments are for producing top-of-the-line hyperspectral cameras that meet industry standards.

Our Cleanroom is a controlled environment specially designed to keep out unwanted particles that could cause defects or malfunctions in the finished hyperspectral cameras. Minimizing contamination during manufacturing is crucial in producing high-quality, reliable, and accurate cameras.

Specim Cleanroom facilities have been in operation since 2015. In 2021, we upgraded our Cleanroom facility with state-of-the-art ESD protection measures to safeguard sensitive equipment and introduced humidity control systems to maintain an optimal moisture level. We also updated the workstations and new measurement equipment and jigs to ensure efficient workflows and precise measurements.
