Damien Vincke graduated as a bioengineer in 2011 from ULiège Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech (GxABT) in Belgium and started working at CRA-W in 2013 as a project scientist. For more than 10 years, Damien worked on various research projects analyzing a wide range of agricultural products using near-infrared spectroscopy, with a strong focus on near-infrared hyperspectral imaging. In 2024, Damien obtained his PhD in agronomic sciences and biological engineering from GxABT with a thesis related to the application of near infrared hyperspectral imaging for the detection of Fusarium head blight on wheat in both laboratory and field environments.
