Connected products
In the following, Specim, Spectral Imaging Ltd (hereinafter Specim), provides the information required according to Art. 3 section 2 EU Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854) for product data generated by its connected products.
Specim’s connected products generate logs in .txt format, typically minor in size. The logs are generated continuously and in real time, and are stored on the device or a memory card. Users can access the logs as follows:
- Specim AFX10, Specim AFX17, Specim FX50, Specim FX120, SpecimCUBE: Logs can be downloaded through the WebUI by navigating to System Settings > Maintenance > Download logs.
- Specim AFX10, Specim AFX17: GNSS/IMU logs can be downloaded through the GNSS/IMU WebUI by navigating to Help > System Log.
- Specim IQ: The log file saved on the memory card can be viewed in a text editor on the user’s computer.

Related services
With the following information, we, Specim, Spectral Imaging Ltd (hereinafter Specim), inform you in accordance with Art. 3 section 3 Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854) about data generated by our related services.
Specim’s related services generate logs in .txt format, typically minor in size. The logs are generated continuously and in real time, and are stored locally on the same computer as the related service itself. Users can access the logs as follows:
- Lumo Recorder, Lumo Scanner: The log folder is defined by the user. If not defined, the default path is C:\ProgramData\Specim.
- Lumo SDK: Log files are located at C:\ProgramData\Specim.
- SpecimINSIGHT: Logs can be accessed by pressing Ctrl+F9 and clicking Save Log.
Specim only has access to the data in two cases:
- A log is submitted to Specim’s Product Support by a user and accessed at the user’s request.
- A connected product is sent to Specim for maintenance or repair.
Specim does not use the log data for any other purpose than support, maintenance, or repair, and does not allow third-party access to it.
