From May 22–25, at Automate Show, Specim will demonstrate a real-time foreign object detection and material classification system with SpecimONE and Specim FX17 NIR hyperspectral camera in booth 3548.
Operating in the NIR wavelength range the Specim FX17 can detect objects invisible to the human eye on conveyor belts and free fall systems moving at high speed.
At the Automate Show, we will show multiple applications by classifying and detecting different materials.
- Foreign objects in food
- Minerals classification
- Plastic sorting
- Textile sorting
- Food sorting
- Pharmaceutical inspection
- Seal inspection
SpecimONE is a complete spectral imaging platform that makes it easy for machine builders and vision systems integrators to create new sorting and inspection applications without coding or in-depth knowledge of hyperspectral imaging.
At the heart of the SpecimONE solution is a broad selection of Specim hyperspectral cameras designed for industrial machine vision covering the spectral range from VNIR (400-1000 nm), NIR (900 – 1700 nm) to MVIR (2.7 – 5.3 μm).
In addition to the comprehensive camera portfolio, SpecimONE offers an easy-to-use hyperspectral image processing software SpecimINSIGHT for building inspection models, and a computing platform SpecimCUBE for real-time data processing to turn hyperspectral data quickly into inline applications.
Compatible with major industrial machine vision standards such as GigE Vision and CameraLink, SpecimONE provides seamless integration with vision software such as Halcon and Sherlock.
